What we do: FNA Transmission is a transmission-only automotive shop in Wakefield, MA. We train our apprentices properly — hands-on, from day one, alongside certified specialists.

What the job is: You will learn how to take automotive transmissions apart, clean and inspect the parts, and reassemble them correctly. You will use shop tools like hydraulic presses and torque wrenches. As you get better, you will take on more responsibility.

No transmission experience needed. We will teach you.

What you need:

Some mechanical experience — engines, machinery, or trades work
Able to follow detailed instructions carefully and consistently
Reliable and on time every day
Valid driver’s license
Trade or vocational school background is a bonus but not required
What you get:

$23–$26 per hour from day one
Weekly bonuses based on your attendance and performance
