Automotive Transmission Diagnostic Technician | $35–$45/hr + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Full Time NEW

What we do: We are a transmission-only shop in Wakefield, MA — no oil changes, no general repair. Just transmissions, done right since 1981.

What the job is: You will diagnose transmission problems. Road test vehicles, run scan tools, perform line pressure and stall speed tests, and identify exactly what is wrong — hydraulic, electronic, or mechanical. You write it up and the rebuild team fixes it.

What you need:

5+ years diagnosing transmission problems
Comfortable with Snap-on, Autel, or Launch scan tools
ASE A2, T-Series, or ATD certification required
Valid driver’s license
What you get:

$35–$45/hr — more for the right experience
$2,000 signing bonus
