In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding transmission systems in various vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair.
Responsibilities
Diagnose transmission issues through thorough inspection and testing of vehicle systems.
Disassemble, clean, and inspect transmission components for wear and damage.
Rebuild transmissions to manufacturer specifications using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilize diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter to assess electrical components within the transmission system.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Keep detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
Skills
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for transmission rebuilding.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, specifically related to transmission systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, including ohmmeters, to evaluate electrical components.

Pay: $66,254.00 – $74,252.00 per year
