What we do: Transmission-only specialty shop in Wakefield, MA. No general repair. No oil changes. Just transmissions — since 1981.

What the job is: You are the diagnostic authority in our shop. Every transmission that comes in gets evaluated by you first. You road test, pressure test, run scan data, and identify the exact failure — hydraulic, electronic, or mechanical. You write it up, brief the rebuild team, and make sure it gets fixed right the first time.

What you need:

5+ years diagnosing automotive transmission problems
ASE A2, T-Series, or ATD certification — required
Proficient with Snap-on, Autel, Launch, or equivalent
Solid knowledge of hydraulics, solenoids, and electronic control systems
Valid driver’s license
What you get:

$35–$45/hr — more for the right candidate
