This is not a general tech position. We are a transmission-exclusive specialty shop seeking a senior-level diagnostician who can walk in, take ownership, and deliver root-cause accuracy that drives every repair decision we make.

What You’ll Own
Full diagnostic authority — road testing, line pressure testing, stall speed analysis, and electronic control system interrogation
Interpret live scan data, fault codes, and solenoid performance metrics using industry-leading scan platforms
Accurately differentiate between hydraulic circuit, mechanical, and electronic control failures
Produce precise diagnostic reports with clear root-cause identification and recommended repair scope
Brief rebuild technicians directly on findings to ensure accurate, first-time repair execution
Stay current across domestic, import, late-model electronic, and CVT platforms

What You Bring
✅ 5+ years of professional transmission or advanced drivetrain diagnostic experience ✅ Advanced proficiency with Snap-on, Autel, Launch, or equivalent professional scan platforms ✅ Deep knowledge of automatic transmission hydraulics, clutch apply logic, and electronic control architecture ✅ Hands-on experience with line pressure, governor analysis, stall speed, and solenoid diagnostics ✅ ASE A2, T-Series, or ATD certification required — additional manufacturer certs a strong plus ✅ Able to document findings precisely and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical staff ✅ Valid driver’s license required
