Transmission Builder Full Time

Looking for Transmission Builder

Must has experience building across all spectrums of transmissions of most common makes and models. (CVT and manuals excluded, we do not build these but is helpful if you can).

We do have a dedicated build area with an operational parts washer, parts wash sink and stock of used parts.

This position offers mostly autonomous space for you to perform your work. I do expect there to be a measure of cost efficiency when it comes to reusing certain parts and not just replacing parts just to replace them. An example of this is, but not limited to: refurbishing steels, refurbishing Techm’s and valve bodies. If they need to be replaced, then that’s fine but I don’t operate a shop where we replace parts just to replace them.

There may be times your experience and expertise will be needed on the floor helping the technicians. There will be times you may need to diagnose your transmission and even final. We try to keep that to a minimum. I expect a minimal comeback rate on the transmission rebuild. The Ideal candidate should be able to handle up to 6 transmissions per week at minimum. Interested candidate must have experience and be proficient in this job function.

I will know pretty quick if you’re experienced in building transmissions. There is a 90-day probation period to gauge your experience.
