Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
Own professional grade tools
ACE Certified
Experience with mechanical diagnosis, trouble-shooter, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding
Electronic Diagnostics and Road Test ability

Responsibilities

Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus
Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required
Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology
Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
