What you’ll do: Full teardown-to-assembly rebuild operations on automatic and manual units. Clutch packs, valve bodies, gear sets, solenoids, seals, hard parts. Road test and pressure verify every unit. Mentor apprentice staff as needed.
What we need: 3+ years transmission rebuild experience. Proficient with scan tools and pressure testing equipment. ASE A2 or T-Series preferred. Valid driver’s license. Your own tools.

FNA Transmission is a transmission-exclusive specialty shop in Wakefield, MA. Diagnostic accuracy is the backbone of everything we do. We need one person who owns it completely.
What you’ll do: Full diagnostic authority — road testing, line pressure, stall speed analysis, electronic control system interrogation. Interpret live scan data, fault codes, solenoid performance metrics. Differentiate hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic failures with precision. Brief rebuild techs directly on findings. Document everything.
What we need: 5+ years transmission or advanced drivetrain diagnostic experience. Advanced proficiency with Snap-on, Autel, Launch, or equivalent. ASE A2, T-Series, or ATD certification required. Strong written and verbal communication. Valid driver’s license.
