About the Role The Shop Maintenance & Janitorial Technician is a critical part of our team. This role directly impacts the safety, efficiency, and professional image of our shop every single day. We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and proud of a job done right.

What You’ll Do

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all shop areas — service bays, floors, workbenches, lifts, tool storage, parts department, break room, restrooms, and office spaces
Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain all concrete and tiled floors to a high standard
Clean and organize workbenches after technicians complete jobs — removing debris, oil spills, used rags, and discarded parts
Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility multiple times per day
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break room, and common areas daily
Handle proper disposal of hazardous waste, used fluids, and shop waste following company procedures and environmental regulations
Keep all walkways, exits, and emergency equipment clear and accessible at all times
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and janitorial inventory — notify management when supplies are low
Perform light maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, air filter changes, and minor painting touch-ups
Assist with snow removal, salting, and grounds maintenance as directed
Ensure the shop remains professional and welcoming to both customers and staff
What We’re Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Comfortable working in an active shop environment around vehicles and equipment
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
Prior janitorial, maintenance, or shop cleaning experience is a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license preferred
