    Shop owners send Help Wanted E-Mail through the Employees Grapevine. This service delivers job opportunities, from all major franchises and top independent shops nationwide, to each registered employees e-mail address. Check your email for nationwide employment opportunities daily. Contact the shop owner if you see an opportunity you are interested in and the rest is up to you.

  2. How do I know if the Shop Owner I am talking to is a TransTeam Employment USA member in good standing?

    On the main menu, click on "Help Wanted Board". All shop owner members in good standing are listed there.

  3. How does Job Wanted E-Mail work?

    When you register or update, your registration is instantly sent to shop owner members nationwide. We realize the employment information sent to shop owners is limited to questions we ask on the registration forms. Job Wanted E-Mail allows the you to elaborate on points not covered in the registration forms and lets shop owners all across the country know your current employment situation. All shop owners will receive your message. Nationwide instant communications lines, via email, have been established between the shop owners and employees. Interested shop owners will contact you via email or telephone and the rest is up to you.

    On the main menu, click on "Contact Us". Fill out the form and click on the complaint category. Then click "Send". We will contact the shop owner. Three unresolved complaints and the shop owner is removed as a TransTeam member.

    Yes, on the main menu click "Update Registration". Type in your username and password. Your registration form will be accessed and come into view. If you ever want to change anything on the registration form, phone#, address etc. simply type in the changes and submit the updated registration. You may update your registration 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world now by logging on to the National Employment Headquarters website, www.transteam.com

    On the main menu click on "Contact Us". Fill out the form and choose the "Remove my Registration" category, and click on "Send".

    No, Transmission Shop Owners become members of TransTeam Employment USA and pay a membership fee to participate in this program. This membership of Transmission Shop Owners is an elite group of the most progressive Transmission Shop Owners in the United States.

    Simple, on the main menu click on "Registration", choose your job category, fill out the registration form and click "Submit". We distribute your registration to all shop owner members. Then, shop owners contact you and expose you to the most exciting job opportunities in the country. Also, go to the Help Wanted Board and look at nationwide job opportunities posted daily at our website.

  12. Will Shop Owner members contact me at work?

    No, it's against our policy. When you contact TransTeam Employment USA we do not ask for your work number. The members will contact you at home. They do not have your work number and are not allowed to contact you at work.

    No. We do not recruit employees out of the shops. TransTeam Employment USA is the National Employment Headquarters For The Transmission Industry. We have established a website for Shop Owners and Transmission Specialist's to come to that is neutral ground for all. This is the only way to assure a professional recruiting environment for you and the Shop Owner.

    Yes. As you move through your career and your employment status changes, you simly click on "Update Registration" on the main menu and update your own registration form online 24 hours a day.

    Yes. TransTeam Employment USA has members all over the United States who want to hire you right now. When you register you choose the area that you want to relocate to and shop owners from that area contact you with job offers . Or check the Help Wanted Board on the main menu and look through the Nationwide job opportunities. Take a virtual tour of the area and call the owner of the shop or email him directly from his website.

  16. How can I make sure I am not loosing ground salary wise, by moving to an area where the cost of living is more?

    Click on "Relocation Links" found on the main menu under employees. Then, click on "Second Gear". There is a cost of living calculator there that will tell you what you have to make to break even in the city you want to relocate to.

  17. Do I have to pay my own relocation expenses?

    Depends. Some Shop Owners pay all the expenses, some pay part and others wont pay any relocation expenses. When you talk to them, bring it up and make it part of the negotiation process.

    Yes. As many times as you need to.

  19. Does TransTeam Employment USA check my references?

    No. When you register with TransTeam we notify the Shop Owners in your desired area. Then the Shop Owner contacts you, checks your references and hires you. We ask each employee registered with The National Employment Headquarters to return each owners phone call or email even if you are not interested in going to work for the owner contacting you. Be professional with all Shop Owners contacting you. Just as with the shop owners, three complaints against you and you will be removed as an employee member.
