TransTeam.com is an employment web site exclusively for the transmission industry. We know you will find our web site easy to use because it was built by transmission people for transmission people. In September of 1997, our founder, Art Little decided he was going to work full time on creating a way to help shop owners staff their shops. In March of 1998 he and Eric Miller started building the TransTeam web site and the National Employment Headquarters for the transmission industry was born.

Over the years, TransTeam has built a proven system at this web site that allows employees and shop owners to register on-line and instantly become part of our nationwide network. More than 500 shop owners have used our services over the years to help staff their shops. We have registered close to 2,000 transmission specialists from coast to coast and that number is growing. They have each filled out our specialized registration forms designed for their job category. Now days, because the web site makes relocation easy, an average of 1-2 employees register or re-register every day at TransTeam.com. Last year our web site received over 1,000,000 hits, making TransTeam the number one place industry employees come when they need a job.

Employees register on-line and an employee registration notice is e-mailed to shop owners all over the United States instantly and your registration is placed in our Employee Database. The shop owners call you and hire you. The Help Wanted Board has a search engine that allows the employees to contact the shop owners.

The employees conduct a search by state at the bottom of each page and a list of shops for that state comes up. They click on the name of the shop and a webpage with all the contact information of the shop owner is there. They call the shop owner or click on the shop owners e-mail address and send him an e-mail from that web page. We put employees in touch with shop owners.

We also put shop owners in touch with the employees. When you register on-line there are only two forms to fill out. The first one sets up your account with TransTeam and the second form places your ad. Click here for an example of a Recruiting web page. Once that is submitted, an e-mail, introducing you as our newest shop owner member, is instantly sent to all of the employees that are on our mailing list and your ad is placed on the Help Wanted Board.

Then, you receive a confirmation page where you receive your user name and password so you can log into the Recruiting Office and access the Employee Database immediatly. The Employee Database Search Engine allows shop owners to search our employee registration forms.

Shop owner members search for employees by the state they register in, desired relocation area, job category and by name. When they conduct a search, a list of employee names come up - click here for an example. Then, they click on an employee's name and the employee's registration appears. Call the employee and hire him. View the information found in the employee registration forms: Center Manager, Rebuilder, and R & R Specialist.

TransTeam is celebrating our eleventh year as The National Employment Headquarters for the transmission industry and it feels good to know we have made an impact on the employment challenges facing our industry.
